Zagora is a village in Pelion and is located in the municipality of Zagora-Mouresi in the prefecture of Magnesia. It is 47 km from Volos. It consists of the districts of Agios Georgios, Agia Kyriaki, Agia Paraskevi or Perachora and Sotira.

Zagora is an important economic center of the region mainly through tourism and the cultivation of the famous Zagorian apple, which has been included in the European certification system for Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

The village of course offers local flavors in taverns such as traditional pies, boiled goat, rooster and so many other local dishes but one can also find traditional pastries, village pies, homemade jams, handmade liqueurs, village pies and dried herbs to get them and remember Zagora as soon as you leave it behind.
