Agioi Saranda is a large sandy beach on the north coast of Pelion. It is located near Horefto and in the mountain villages of Makryrrahi and Zagora, accessible by narrow road.
Agioi Saranda also has rocks on both sides and many greens that oppose the blue sea. The beach is covered with coarse sand and small pebbles. The water is not shallow, but it leans gently, and when there are no waves, the sea is crystal clear. The sofa beds and umbrellas are provided by some beach bars and taverns. Around the beach there are only a few studios with studios for rent, so this is a good choice for quiet leisure.
The nearest village is Makryrrahi (4 km), but a mini market and more food options can be found in Horefto within 2.5 km (only during the good months).
